Metal Earth 1931 Ford Model A

Metal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model.

The Ford Model A is the Ford Motor Company’s second major product success, replacing the Model T which it had produced for 18 years. Production ranged from 1928 to 1931, with over 4.8 million Model A variants manufactured.

This lovely, detailed metal model kit of a 1931 Ford Model A from Metal Earth comes with just over 100 pieces and is aimed at intermediate difficulty model builders. The metal pieces come coloured and laser etched with detailed, which means the finished model doesn’t need to be painted. Some of the pieces are fairly small, so some care is required assembling – use of tweezers or small pliers is recommended to help assemble the intricate pieces, although no gluing is required. A great little addition to any collection and an ideal gift for lovers of vintage cars.
