Metal Earth Star Trek Klingon B’rel-class ‘Bird of Prey’

Metal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model.

The Kilingon Bird-of-prey scout starship is the rank-and-file of the Klingon fleet, making it a formidable opponent. In media, the B’rel-class Bird-of-prey featured in Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country, where the B’rel-class ‘IKS Dakronh’ was ultimately destroyed by the USS Enterprise-A under Captain Kirk.

This great little Metal Earth replica of a Klingon Bird-of-prey comes in 71 pieces and takes some skill and patience to assemble. As with many metal model kits, the pieces can be very small and intricate so a steady hand is needed to put them together. Metal kits don’t require any glue or painting, but you might need tweezers or flat nose pliers to help manage the parts. The final model sits on an include stand at 10.5 x 7.6 x 4.3cm.
