Corgi CC96611 Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (TNG)

Corgi Toys have been creating metal die-cast toys in some shape or form since 1933. Their most popular range of cars and other vehicles includes a number of famous vehicles as featured in films and TV series, particularly British shows. Their models don’t require assembly and make great little gifts and keepsakes.

The U.S.S. Enterprise-D was the fifth starship with the same name and was first introduced to us in 1987 in Star Trek: The Next Generation under Captain Jean-Luc Picard. While the original Enterprise’s iconic design is cherished by many, it’s the later TNG series that captured the imaginations of a whole new generation of fans and spawned multiple seasons, other series set in the same era and films. This made the Enterprise-D a fan favourite – a much larger vessel, twice as long as the original Enterprise and eight times the volume.
