Description
Metal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model.
Originally produced by McDonnell Douglas, this Boeing twin-engine army attack helicopter first entered service with the US Army in 1984. Since then it has become the primary attack helicopter of many nations. More than 2,000 have been produced.
This lovely 48 piece metal model kit of a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter from Metal Earth is geared towards intermediate model builders. A simpler kit with under 50 pieces, it still has a degree of complexity with small, intricate metal pieces that are laser etched with detailing. No glue is required as the pieces fix together by folding small tags (tweezers will help with assembly) and the final model is 12.2 x 12.2 x 5.5cm and sits on the included stand. A great little gift for modern aviation enthusiasts.
