ROKR have a long history of producing excellent 3D wooden puzzles and mechanical models. Each of their models piece together easily, with the wooden parts simply slotting together, which requires no glue or tools so they making a wonderful gift and a great introduction to model making.
This wonderful little working 3D model of a Viking dragon ship comes with 229 pieces and is a great gift for adults and kids. When complete, the central gear mechanism, powered via USB cable (not included), will activate the 12 oars to simulate motion and also illuminate the model through LED lights. This is a great little model that helps teach both craftmanship and engineering through the complex assembly of the gear system.
The finished model is perched upon the include stand (the model is 46 x 46 cm), which makes it the perfect display model for any room.
