Military model kits by material
Choosing the right material is important – metal kits tend to be cheaper and smaller models (but can be a bit harder to assemble due to smaller parts) – wooden kits tend to be easier to assemble – plastic kits can be more detailed final models and can vary in difficulty.

Military model kits by difficulty
Model kit difficulty is relative and depends on your own skill, experience and also the material of the kit. Wooden kits can have more pieces, but aren’t as difficulty as they don’t require gluing or painting. Whereas plastic kits can require more artistic skill to finish the model.
