NASA’s Saturn V rocket holds records as the tallest, most powerful, and heaviest payload launch vehicle ever built, and is the only rocket to have carried humans beyond low Earth orbit. There were thirteen successful missions using Saturn V rockets: the twelve Apollo missions and the launch of Skylab (the United States’ first space station) into low Earth orbit.

This lovely 500-piece scale model of the Saturn V rocket from UGEARS is a great advanced kit for adults. As with all UGEARS wooden model kits, the pieces come pre-cut and laser-etched with detailing, so don’t require painting or gluing to assemble – the parts simply slot together. With 500 pieces, it’s one of the more complex kits from UGEARS but the resulting model is a wonderful addition to any collection.
