Metal Earth Star Wars Death Star

Metal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model.

The Death Star is perhaps one of the most iconic sci-fi models of all time. The Empire’s Death Star first appeared in the original Star Wars film (spoliers: it didn’t make it to the next), with a second, larger Death Star, still under-construction, version appearing in Return of the Jedi. The prequel film, Rogue One and the TV series, Andor, both explore aspects of the original Death Star’s construction.

This wonderful little Death Star metal model kit from Metal Earth comes with 17 pieces, so it’s good for beginners and intermediate model builders. The metal pieces come laser-etched with intricate detail, so the model doesn’t require painting when assembled. The pieces can be a tad fiddly to piece together so will require a little bit of skill and patience, but this makes a great gift for any Star Wars fan. The final model sits on an included stand and is 5.2 x 5.4 x 7.3cm.
