Metal Earth Star Wars – The Mandalorian ‘Din Djarin’

Metal Earth produces a large number of licensed and classic metal model kits. Each kit comes with a few flat sheets of metal pieces that can be pressed out and assembled by following the simple instructions, resulting in a wonderful little steel model.

Din Djarin, The Mandalorian, is the titular character of the Disney+ TV series set in the Star Wars universe. Taking place around 5 years after the events of The Return of the Jedi, Din Djarin is tasked with the retrieval and subsequent protection of the child, Grogu. This is an excellent TV series that delves into Mandalorian culture and history, where interest was first piqued by fan-favourite charactre, Boba Fett, who appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi.

This wonderfully detailed metal model of Din Djarin from Metal Earth comes in 145 pieces, meaning it’s a much more complex and advanced difficulty model kit. The metal pieces are laser-etched with colouring and details, meaning you don’t have to paint the finished model which stands at 8.1 x 10.4 x 18.3cm. Some of the pieces are very small, so patience and care is required when assembling them and as small tabs need to be folder, having tweezers or flat nosed pliers available would be useful.
