Rolife Big Ben Model Kit

Rolife were founded in 2017 as a sub-brand of Robotime and have produced a lovely little range of wooden 3D model kits and toys suitable for adults or older children. Their models are a bit more complex than other wooden models, but come with coloured pieces that slot together without the need for tools or glue. The results are beautiful little model kits that are a challenging project that leaves you with an amazing finished model for display.

Big Ben (yes, the clock and the tower!) has watched over London since 1859 and is synonymous with the City and generally one of the first things that pops to mind when someone mentions Britain. It’s a popular tourist attraction and UNESCO World Heritage site. Although it’s currently closed for refurbishment (at the time of writing), it still draws crowds to London.

This detailed 220 piece wooden model kit from Rolife is a great gift for adults or for children with a little assistance. The scale model of Big Ben is a great little project to complete – the wooden pieces are laser-etched with detail and don’t require glue or painting. Some of the pieces are pretty small and intricate though, so some care is required when assembling. The completed model lights up (requires 3 x LR44 button batteries, not included), making it a lovely little decorative model for the home.
